Commercial Keyless Entry, Access Control, and Intercoms
Keyless entry, access control, and intercom systems support different ways to manage authorized entry. The best fit depends on the doors, users, and daily workflow.
A keypad can reduce reliance on physical keys, while an access control system can support individual credentials and permissions. Features vary by equipment, so confirm the functions you need before choosing a system.
Intercom systems let occupants communicate with visitors before granting entry when connected to compatible release hardware. Existing wiring, power, and door conditions affect installation and repair options.
Before discussing equipment, answer these questions
- Which doors need controlled entry?
- Who should have access, and during which hours?
- How will visitors request entry?
- Who will manage credentials when staff change?
- What should happen during a power interruption?
A system should match actual use. Shared codes that never change can weaken otherwise useful access controls.
Push Bars, Panic Bars, and Exit Devices
Exit device service addresses bars and latching hardware used on doors along exit paths. We provide push bar locksmith work, panic bar installation, crash bar installation, and exit device installation.
These names sometimes overlap, but the correct product depends on the door and its use. Door construction, existing hardware, and applicable requirements must guide the selection.
A bar that sticks, fails to release, or does not latch after closing needs attention. Do not chain an exit door shut or disable the release mechanism as a temporary fix.
When calling, describe whether the door is single or paired and whether the problem occurs from inside or outside. Mention any fire label on the door without removing it. Changes involving exit hardware may require coordination with the building manager and the relevant authority.
Safe Installation and Repair
Safe installation and repair help address placement, locking problems, and trouble with normal operation. The safe’s construction and locking system determine what work is appropriate.
Tell us the brand, model if known, and whether it uses a key, dial, or electronic keypad. Describe the symptoms without sharing the combination in a general message.
If an electronic safe stops responding, check the manufacturer’s battery instructions before trying anything else. Repeated incorrect entries may trigger a temporary lockout on some models.
For installation, discuss the safe’s size, weight, floor location, and mounting needs. Do not attempt to move a heavy safe without suitable help and equipment. Be prepared to establish your authority to request service before work proceeds.
